Painting Techniques - video 01/10

Hi Guys.

Those days for most of us are a bit Boring. Some countries are experiencing a quarantine because Covid-19 Alert.

Other Artist as Banshee (MiniatureArtAcademy) are sharing their job at the lowest price as possible or even free to make those days easier. I liked the initiative so I'll do the same myself.

I've some old videos done during my book's 1st edition Kickstarter that were exclusive to gold backers until now. I decided to open them to every one of you posting a video every 2 days. For free.

We all should be solidary and responsible those days, accomplish authorities indications and stay home. Let's make it funny at least ;-)

Arsies Studio becomes again an Independent Studio

Good Morning followers.

About a year ago I announced that Arsies Studio closed to incorporate myself as Director of the Painting Department to the miniatures company Hydra Studio. It was an intense and interesting year, a new experience that reminded me how cool can be to work with a team.

I made good friends and meet some great professionals, however, at a company mostly focused on developing 3D models, the work at the Painting Department was basically independent.

After this time and showing that my daily work was almost the same as before entering at Hydra, making the same work as an independent studio I took the decision to become again owner of my work.

Past Friday 13th and both agree Hydra Studio & Arsies Studio choose to separate their paths in a friendly way and keep going independently, so I'm already starting the steps to work again at my own, however, the Alarm Status of Spain due to Covid-19 is making it a bit harder.

By now, if you are a customer interested in hiring my services you can contact me to my email ( Arsiesstudio@gmail.com ) or using Facebook or Instagram. If you are just a follower of my work and tutorials, I want to tell you that my 1st intention is to improve my social networks. I have the intention to update frequently and with more didactic content now that I'm not tied to an NDA

New Year, New Life

Arsies Studio was on holidays since December, A lot of things were happening...

I have a BIG announcement: ARSIES STUDIO CLOSES

I've been working as a freelance for the last 10 years. I had so many ups and downs. Working as a freelance is hard, you are always a one-man army that had to do so many works in very different areas. Anyone that works in this way can tell you.

So It's time to change. Arsies Studio Closes to being integrated into Hydra Studio, Where I'm going to work as head of the painting Department (or "painting Head" as they like to call it).

Working with a Team means I can focus on my painting work to release more and better miniatures, tutorials, and multimedia resources. It will take some time to complete integration with my new teammates, but I'm sure in a couple of months we'll be working as one unit and producing exciting things.

For those who don't know them, Hydra Studio is a very young enterprise that is entering strongly into the modelling market, focused until now in development 3D sculpture (also for the miniature world as animation or video games) and 3D Printing, we are slowly creating new departments with the integration of Arsies Studio as the Painting Department and creating new ones that will be working soon as the Casting Department.

We're also finishing the accommodation of our new HeadQuarters in a big Industrial ship in La Línea de la Concepción (Spain), and we'll be able soon to show and offer new experiences from there.
